Definition and nature of personal data

When you use our application, we may ask you to provide personal data about you.

The term “personal data” refers to any information that can identify an individual, which notably includes your full name, display name, photograph, postal and email addresses, telephone numbers, date of birth, data related to your transactions on the application, details of your purchases and subscriptions, credit card numbers, as well as any other information you choose to provide about yourself.

Purpose of this policy

This policy aims to inform you about how we collect your personal data and the measures we take to protect your rights.

We inform you that, in collecting and managing your personal data, we comply with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms, as amended.

Identity of the data controller

The data controller for the collection of your personal data is the application publisher.

Collection of personal data

No personal data is collected by the application.

Recipients of collected data

Public authorities may receive your personal data solely to fulfil our legal obligations, as well as judicial auxiliaries, public officers and agencies responsible for debt collection.

Transfer of personal data

Your personal data will not be sold, rented or exchanged for the benefit of third parties.

Retention period for personal data

  1. Regarding data related to customer and prospect management:

    Your personal data will not be retained longer than necessary for managing our commercial relationship with you. However, data needed to prove a right or a contract, and which must be retained to comply with a legal obligation, will be kept for the period provided by applicable law.

    For any marketing activities aimed at customers, their data may be kept for up to three years from the end of the commercial relationship.

    Personal data relating to a prospect who is not a customer may be retained for three years from collection or from the last contact initiated by the prospect.

    At the end of this three-year period, we may contact you again to ask whether you wish to continue receiving commercial solicitations.

  2. Regarding identity documents:

    In the event of an exercise of the right of access or rectification, data related to identity documents may be kept for the period provided by Article 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, i.e. one year. In the event of an exercise of the right to object, such data may be archived for the duration of the limitation period provided by Article 8 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, i.e. three years.

  3. Regarding payment card data:

    Financial transactions for purchases and fees on the site are handled by a payment service provider who ensures the proper execution and security of those transactions.

    For service purposes, this payment service provider may receive personal data related to your card numbers; it collects and stores such data on our behalf.

    We do not have access to this data.

    To allow you to make recurring purchases or to pay fees on the site, your card-related data is stored for the duration of your account registration and at least until your last transaction.

    By checking the box provided for this purpose on the site, you give your express consent for such storage.

    Card verification data (CVV2) is not stored.

    If you refuse the storage of your card-related personal data as described above, we will not retain those data beyond the time necessary to perform the transaction.

    In any case, such data may be retained for evidentiary purposes in the event of a dispute, in intermediate archives, for the duration provided by Article L133-24 of the Monetary and Financial Code, namely 13 months following the debit date. This period may be extended to 15 months to account for the possibility of deferred-debit payment cards.

  4. Regarding the management of opt-out lists for marketing:

    Information enabling the taking into account of your right to object will be retained for at least three years from the exercise of the right of opposition.

  5. Regarding audience measurement statistics:

    Information stored in users’ terminals or any other element used to identify users and allow tracking or visitation will not be retained for more than 6 months.

Security

We inform you that we take all appropriate organizational and technical measures to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal data and, in particular, to prevent them from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorized third parties. We also use, or may use, payment systems that comply with the state of the art and applicable regulations.

When you choose to provide your personal data, you expressly consent to the collection and use of that data as described in this policy and in accordance with applicable law.

Access to your personal data

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify this policy at any time, in whole or in part. These modifications will take effect upon publication of the new policy. Your use of the site after the new policy comes into effect will constitute acknowledgment and acceptance of the new policy. If you do not agree with the new policy, you should stop accessing the site.
